I have a 1994 450G (793 991) Direct Drive dozer we use for general work around the farm for roads/drainage/etc. Engine/tracks are in good shape (5600hrs), but I have a transmission problem. To add to what lantraxco said there is also an inspection port on the upper left side of the bell housing . Inside the port is a mechanical linkage to the valve in the transmission . It works off the throw out bearing shaft & has some adjustment in it .

Last edited by markmc60 on Mon May 04, 2015 4:08 pm, edited 1 time in total. my crawler is a 450, plain 450, it uses a different hub and brake drum. also uses different steel disc. The T20717 steel separator plates are often confused with the T31732 plates used in the later steering clutches.
