How old is a 2009 Chevy Silverado crew cab?

Here we go.. 2009 Chevy Silverado, 1500, Crew Cab, LTZ, 85k. I purchased 3-4 years ago w/ 42k on it. Changed oil every 3k. So a few months ago I noticed a significant squeak coming from my motor.

Price for just doing lifters seems high…but I guess having someone do the work is always high. If you are handy, you could look into doing it yourself. But if not…then having a shop do it is just gonna cost you. A new truck would be nice…but it will cost you a lot more than a $4800 repair bill in the end most likely.

Why does my Chevy Silverado 1500 shut off?

Can anyone shed some light on this problem. After driving my 04′ Silverado 1500 all day without any problems, after the truck sat in the driveway for a couple of hours, the truck started right up, but then after about 10-20 seconds it shut off. It now continue to do this. It starts normally, but then shuts off.
