HOW DOES THE ANTSER WORK? At the heart of the Antser’s patented design is a hidden reservoir that feeds an ant-blocking moat. The moat is surrounded by a series of walls and baffles that prevent contamination of the water, reduce evaporation, and guard against accidental spilling if the Antser is jostled or knocked.
Does squashing ants attract more?
Squashing ants means killing them, and hence, it will attract more ants. When ants die, they release pheromones, which signals other ants that there is danger ahead.

As far as entomologists are concerned, insects do not have pain receptors the way vertebrates do. They don’t feel ‘pain,’ but may feel irritation and probably can sense if they are damaged. Even so, they certainly cannot suffer because they don’t have emotions.
