First try the following troubleshooting tips:

  1. Check the frequency of the device’s handheld transmitter (usually found on the back).
  2. Put a brand new battery in the handheld transmitter.
  3. Retrain HomeLink holding the handheld transmitter at different distances and angles from the HomeLink button you are trying to program.
