First You need to put the vehicle in the on position with the engine off. After that You will need to disconnect the negative cable from the battery and allow it to be disconnected for ten minutes. This will allow the system to completely lose power and reset the next time that You start up the car.

Is there a way to turn off the brake light?
The only way to turn the brake light off is to restore proper line pressure to both brake circuits when the pedal is pushed. If your F250 is having trouble stopping, or noticeably leaking fluid, don’t drive it. Just have it towed to a mechanic.
