Sound to me like a bad actuator gm has a lot of problems with door lock actuators. 1 people found this helpful. I took the doors off the hinges. The lock had rusted, so I sprayed with lube and took a screwdriver and hammer to open the lock. After cleaning up the lock put the doors back on.
