Thoughts on replacing hard fuel line with rubber? So my pressure fuel line rusted through and is leaking quite badly. It’s at the first bend after it exits the tank and starts heading towards the engine. Every shop wants at least $500 to replace it, since they have to do the whole line.

As long as you tighten them properly and assuming a good seal there is no chance of the pressure overcoming the clamp. Its a decent amount of pressure but nothing serious. Not like brake lines. i got my start working as an ambulance mechanic so I got used to high pressure diesel lines.
