No you cant just screw a fixed bridge down in place of a trem. The screws go right where the gaping hole is and being a string thru there isnt any wood to mount the ferrules to. Best bet is find a trem and block it.

Thanks! yeah you can, but depending on the tremolo type it could be quite a bit of work, if its a strat style floating bridge (which i doubt it is if its ibanez) you could just use a bridge block, but otherwise you’re looking at having to compleatly replace the wood that was routed out for the trem.
