Why is the tailgate not opening with the FOB?
That’s just the way the tailgates are. You can unlock them with the fob, but still have to open them by hand. If you don’t open it soon enough after pressing the button, I’m pretty sure it will lock again. Much like unlocking the doors and not opening within the time period.
