As in prove that somehow they shorted something out – as if. After a month without a car (too cold outside to work on it) and much online searching, testing of fuses, resistors etc etc a Honda mechanic my grandson knew suggested to him that it most likely was the whole heating unit that was blown.

All fuses good all relays good. The fan blower for your ac/heater is located under the glovebox. Take your hand and smack the fan blower motor a few times. That’s all it took for for mine to start working again. It’s been working for over 6 month’s now!

Starts and stops itself. if your blower is working but keeps cutting out then there are more chances of a faulty blower. I have experienced this with a Q7 fan blower. As the brushes can’t be changed EASILY, this is the best solution in my views.

Why does my 1997 Jimmy blower not work?
I have a similar problem with my ’97 Jimmy, but it only occurs when I start up. Usually everything works fine. But intermittently the ABS light remains on. While it’s on the blower and power windows won’t work. This lasts from a few seconds to over a minute. As soon as the ABS light goes off, the blower and power windows work.
