Why is my GM temp sensor not working?

Temp sensors have a “calibrated resistance scale” to the system they are providing temp data to. Wrong connectors is a big red flag!!! I’m leaving you the GM resistance scale for you temp sensor. Having the same issue with my 2016 Camaro. After a few short 30 mile trips coolant gauge stops working and fan runs full blast. Reoccurring issue last couple of weeks. Have to disconnect the negative battery cable to reset. Added coolant, which wasn’t needed and also replaced relay. Looking for answers.
