He said that the high pressure oil pressure is not high enough and that the 5w-40 oil is too light causing the low pressure and not letting the computer activate the VGT solenoid to build boost. The motor will still rev to at least 3 grand. I would think that is plenty to spool the turbo and build boost.

The HPOP is firing your injectors, NOT your turbo. Turbo is powered using exhaust and heat from combustion. Hello, hope that I can get some help here. I have a 04 Excursion with a 6.0 and just had #4 and 5 injectors and frame mounted fuel pump replaced and on way home lost all boost.

If you were closer i get 40-60 an hour labor depending on how labor intensive it is still flat rate though unless you bring a 4.6 5.4 or 6.8 with broken manifold studs then your paying me every second i have in it.
