Why does my Crown Vic LX Sport blower not work?
I’ve had my 2002 Crown Vic LX Sport (60k mi) in the shop 4 times to get a problem with the blower motor corrected. No luck yet. The problem is that it works sporadically – typically doesn’t work on the coldest days so getting to work can be an adventure.
Why does my Ford blower fan not work?
Worked perfect for about 8 months. The third time in the shop, the mechanic wired the blower directly to the battery and it worked fine so he knew it wasn’t the blower motor. He checked electrical continuity through the dash and said it was okay. He thought there could be a loose ground wire along the main branch of wires???

Why does a / C stop blowing through vents as I accelerate?
I was sitting stopped, turned on the A/C and it started blowing nice and cold as normal. After i started accelerating, the flow through the vents slowed and finally stopped. As it stopped, i heard the compressor kick into overdrive (like it does when it is cooling the air before blowing it through the vents right as you turn it on.)

What to do when your a / C stops blowing?
If you don’t want to remove hoses or find locations hard to inspect or check, purchase a spray can of carb cleaner. Spray it over the canister or hard to reach vacuum locations to see if the engine speeds up from an idle. If it does, it indicates a leak as it sucked in carb cleaner. Be careful around hot headers- fire risk if you use too much.
