Sounds like the sludge in the coolant problem blocking heater core. I have 2 2011 Chrysler 200’s at Sedan , and a hardtop convertible. The convert has the no heat on the passenger side. All the comments say some BS about oil and heater cores. BS. I understand automotive HVAC. I have extremely hot heat coming from the driver side vents.

If you’re hearing a water sound in the dash there is probably air in the system. Fixing it might help coolant flow through the heater core but the most common cause of the no heat on the passenger side is gelled coolant blocking the flow through the part of the core that supplies heat to that side.

My 2012 Chrysler 200 that I bought new has 65000 miles on it and the heat will not work on the passenger side, had it inspected, flushed the heater core and still no heat. Mechanic says its the heater core and will have to be replaced, a $1200 fix…my car has very low miles, has been serviced faithfully, with oil changes and tire rotations.
