Why does my car shut off after 1 minute?
So on a hunch i decided to replace power pack (used) and sure enough that fixed the problem. Now it starts, however, it only stays for about 1 minute then shuts off. It sounds like a fuel problem to me. Also, i noticed that the ignition coils have some corrosion. I’ve checked the hose and anti-siphon valve and looks fine.

If it cranks but does not start, sometimes a temperature sensor is bad and the computer can’t figure out the proper amount of fuel to inject. Just a little off and the engine won’t start. After a half hour, the engine just happens to get to a good starting temperature.

I guess the motherboard cant be broken since the cpu fan starts up fine, so it must get power from the motherboard… It lights up normal when hitting the start button after 1 sec the cpu fan starts up as normal.. but after 1 second more it just turns off, maybe its some kind of fuse… but i really dont know…

What should I do if my car wont run for 20 seconds?
It can be enough to start, and run for a few seconds before more water is pulled into the carburetor and the engine stalls again. Solution- disconnect the fuel line from the carburetor and let the fuel drain into a clear container. You will see the water in its own layer at the bottom of the container.

What causes a car to start but not keep running?
The engine requires the right amount of air and fuel to mix together for ignition. If there is a fuel leak somewhere, then the correct amount of fuel may not make it to the combustion chamber. This might be enough to allow the engine to start, but not keep running.
