Where is the hot / cold blend actuator on an Impala?
The hot/cold blend door actuator is above the right side of the hump, exactly opposite the one on the driver’s side. The recirc actuator is behind the right side of the glove box. These 3 (2 hot/colds and 1 recirc) are all the same part number.

I can plug the actuator in let it sit on the open glove box and it does not make a sound. But when it is connected and installed to its original location the clicking starts again. This is the same for the new and old actuator. The one you got is bad then.
