Why did my Trailblazer have to be towed?

Unless they can slip a little (like on dirt, mud, gravel, etc) they will wear bad and cause driveline wear, plus under some conditions you could loose control during turns, if the inner wheel gets better traction than the outer, it can actually “pull” the front end into a tighter turn than you planned.

When did the Chevy Trailblazer lose its power?

Just reaching 30k miles and things starting to go out: little things: door switches, squaky and rattling noises. This is last american car for me seriously, the darn Honda Accord I had 10yrs ago was purring like a kitten at 180k miles with 32 mpg.

Can a Chevy Trailblazer lose power on OnStar?

vbell, my information came from a news report that stated that OnStar can now reduce engine power to newer OnStar equipped cars. They do not “deactivate” a car, they reduce power to a safe level so the driver cannot speed away. I would pose the question directly to OnStar, not Chevy or GM.

Why does oil pressure go up on Trailblazers?

Good luck finding a fix. 4 people found this helpful. The oil pressure problem on Trailblazers is caused by sludge buildup on vvt selonoid (easy fix), or clogged oil pickup tube (OPT), or both. Cleaning opt require removing oil pan which is super difficult. People had success with draining the oil.
