How can I tell if my tail lights have a fuse?
When you have located the fuse for the tail lights use a fuse tester to check the connection. If the tester lights up – your fuse is functioning fine. If it does not light up then, replace the fuse with another of the similar amperage and size. In many instances, you can see the break in the metal strip of the fuse.
What to do if your dash lights are not working?
Yes by checking the fuses. Mack. Ford Falcon SR 2006. Mack. Look at the fuses. Didn’t look damaged, replaced anyway and didn’t help. Then it would be a globe, bit of a PITA to change. Unsure whether it applies – but is there a brightness control? Is it just the dash lights? The tail lights are often on the same circuit.

Why are the dash and tail lights out on my 2002 F150?
My 2002 F150 lost dash lights and tail lights. What is really weird to me is the fact that the head lights will NOT turn off. Can’t wait to get out there in the morning and see if its the head light switch. Crossing my fingers, do NOT want to start tracing wires to look for shorts. 49 people found this helpful.
