Why are the steps on my coach not retracting?
Getting ready to go on a trip and when I went out to the coach this morning to check the refrigerator I found the steps out and won’t retract . I even started her up to make sure that the voltage was OK with the system, I just put in a new motor and controller about a month ago and has been working perfectly fine until this morning.

Thanks for the offer but we’ll be in Indiana that weekend. I will be at the Six State rally in MO. the week before. It did turn out to be the magnetic switch that caused the problem. I took a magnet out of one of my screw drivers and inserted it in the plastic housing and stuffed it full of paper to wedge the magnet toward the sensor.
What are the problems with a retractable screen door?
One common problem with retractable screens is leaves getting into the cassette where the screen rolls into. Leaves and twigs and general dust build up especially if you live in an area with a lot of trees which typically drop their leaves this time of year.
Why does my GMC step not come down?
The other issue was that when I open my passenger rear door, no light comes on in the cab, and the DIC did not register the door as opened, so the step would not come down, however, when I open the passenger front door, the DIC says BOTH my passenger doors are open. Okay, obviously there is some crossed wiring somewhere, correct?
