Why are the speakers on my front door not working?
Front Pas. Door- 7.25 volts both wires. Now Could it be possible that the driver door is shorted and the passanger door is busted or not working. I did an ohms test on Both sides and the bothed ohmed telling me that it the curcuit is complete i believe. Just at a loss right now.
Why are the speakers on my Silverado Classic not working?
2007 Silverado Classic. Front door speakers stopped working after about four years. I finally replaced the stock deck with a Kenwood and that didn’t resolve the issue. Last fall I ohmed out both front speakers and confirmed they were good. I didn’t check the wiring for continuity back to the deck at the time but now realize I should have.
Where are the speakers on my Chevy Silverado?
The “open door with key in ignition” alarm is barely audible and seems to come from the left, front (drivers side–dash level) speaker. I can still hear the radio through the one speaker that is working, but is definitely annoying with rear passengers in ext. cab trying to hear something from the one tiny dash level speaker that works.

Great truck, almost zero issues in eight years, but GM stereo systems absolutely suck. My 2002 Buick Regal had the Monsoon stereo system and it too had severe issues over the years. Failing speakers, inability to play CD’s, eject CD’s. All of my speakers quit working except 1 tweeter on the driver’s side. it’s horrible sounding.
Why does my GMC Sierra driver door not work?
Hinge side of door, there may be a rubber boot that covers the wires, sometimes you can move the rubber back far enough to access wires. You may need to use your own judgement on the boot, I can’t see it from here. Have trouble codes checked, all codes, including manufacturer specfic, maybe that will point to something not inside your driver door.

After a few weeks of intermittent minor power window problems (drivers side not wanting to work all the time but usable) all of a sudden none of of the driver’s door controls are working; power mirrors, power windows, door locks, heated seats, seat memory…nothing!

I recently bought a 2004 gmc Sierra used (same controls as silverado) and no power to left door. I tested the orange hot, and it was hot. I called dealership and they said drivers door module from sounds of it. I ordered a used unit from lkq and received it.
Why does my driver side door lock not work?
The windows and the locks are on two separate circuits. The only part that these two have in common is the master switch. Of course it is also possible that the wiring harness between the driver side door and cowl is corroded and that some of the pins are to corroded or even broken off and do not make contact.
