The diagram I have shows that the black with a pink trace is the power feed from the fuse. But from memory, you should have power on one wire. After you select reverse, there should be power on both wires. If there is power at the fuse panel then there is a break in the wire between the fuse and reverse switch.

I’ll go with that. Pull the plug off, turn the ignition to pos II and bridge the plug and the lights should come on or get a multimeter, put the van in reverse and check the resistance at the switch.
