Have a 2007 Impala LT that I bought several months ago. It has the map lights on the bottom of the rear view mirror and a backseat dome light. Neither of these come on when the doors are open. The courtesy (footwell) lights come on, so that means the door switches are working, but none of the others do. It makes it very hard to see at night.
