Also the central locking is not working. Should add that when I checked the fuses, fuse f45 and f49 were blown but I’ve changed them and no difference. Not sure what these are for just says 12v on back of fuse box.

When did stop lights double as turn indicators?

From the mid 50’s thru 1961, cars which did not have semaphores used the Stop lights to double as the rear Turn indicators. To do that, a special Turn Signal switch with 6 wires instead of the later 3-wire design was used.
