Why are my radio speakers on my truck not working?

Could not use my OnStar navigation due to the inability to hear what the OnStar Rep was saying. Took Truck to Dealer and they checked it and said I have 3 bad speakers and will cost $300 to replace.

Why are the door chimes on my Silverado not working?

Ok here is a weird one. Have a 07 silverado with factory radio and cd player. Radio works and then does not work. Or I should say it works but at a very low volume level and only through the roof post speakers. Also noticed that when the radio is haveing this issue the open door chimes also are very weak or do not work.

Why is my GMC Sierra Classic Radio not working?

They would come on intermittently but only in hot dry weather. I hooked up an old speaker I had, directly to the existing plug and it worked. I also tried hooking up the wires to the voice coil wires of the stock speakers and it still did not make the stock speakers work. The stock speakers will only work when hot.

I have a 2007 GMC Sierra ext cab doing the same thing. My Drivers front and rear speaker do not work until it gets very hot outside. The drivers tweeter on the pillar and all of the passenger speakers work all the time. I have checked all connections, back of stereo, speakers, and even tested the speakers on another 4 ohm setup. All are good.

My truck (2015 Rado V6 4X4) was parked outdoors for about 12 hours in -24C (-11F) with windchills approaching -40C (-40F). The radio speakers were working fine when I shut it down. Today – nothing. I guess the turn signals use the same speaker system (didn’t realize that), because I can’t hear them either.
