Which is the best fuel additive for Duramax?

Normally I’ve used diesel kleen, just wondering what you guys have used. Stanadyne. Fuel injection shop up here swears by it. also believe only one approved by GM because no alcohol in it. Schaeffer’s Soy All Season. I use hot shots everyday diesel treatment in mine.

What did the injector fail on my 2003 Duramax?

Was recently out of town in a friends 2003 Duramax during which, one of the injectors failed. Called the local dealer and they told me to bring it on in, and since I was from out of town they would get right on it.

Are there any GM approved fuel additives for Duramax?

GM has a TSB dating back sometime from 03-07 which approved of 2 brands. Racor & Stanadyne. Today no brand is really listed as GM approved. The OM just says talk to your dealer about fuel additives & only use a alcohol free & demulsifier fuel additive.

Are there any problems with my 2003 Duramax?

Thaks for the help. injectors,water pump,headgaskets,injectors again,instrument cluster,steering shaft,pinion seal,and injectors again. I have on 03 with 66,000 on it and know problems. Friend of mine has 03 asmost same truck and know problems with 145,000 on it. Sure love mine. P:S Injectors should be warrantied to 200,000.
