Replace joints by removing the bolts and nuts from the end of the drive shaft, then remove the shaft itself. The joints will remain attached to the drive shaft. Spray WD-40 on the joints at the end. After you have removed the U-joints, clean up the ends until they are nice and shiny.

I have an 86 Ford F150 , 302 EFI, Automatic. I have been working on this truck for a while and can not figure out why it cuts out on me. I thought I had it fixed and now it is back. I have replaced many parts, most recently the vacuum modulator because of fluid in the vacuum line. Please help me fix this.
