From the research I’ve done, this casting number was put on 327 and 302 cid engines in 1968 and 1969 as well as 350 cid engines throughout the 70’s. I’m thinking this block is from 1978, especially since the small surface in front of the passenger side head that usually displays the engine suffix code is the smaller type.
