Also when the turn signal is on for a right hand turn the brake light on the top of the cab blinks too. When the hazard lights are on both the turn signal and brake lights flash on both sides. Thanks for your help but I think my truck is possessed

When using the right turn signal they both work fine till you press the brake then the both turn solid. There is no problem with the driver side or left turn signal lights

If pushing on the brake will illuminate the signal lights then turning on the signal lights has got to illum. the brake lights NOW where this short is that’s what you or a repair shop will have to find! It is going to be at the rear light or wiring as the two circuits do not pass through a common switch or circuit.
