What was the problem with my Mitsubishi 4d34?
Turbo was frozen, leaves and dirt in every opening of the engine, dirt an gritty oil in the engine. It took a long time to get started. I was just amazed it did actually run and didn’t have any knocks.
Is there throttle position sensor on Mitsubishi 4d34?
Just a guess but it looks similar to the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) used on the Zexel inline pump on the Nissan TD4.2. Just had a look at my FSM but didn’t see any TPS on the pump diagrams for the Inline Zexel or the VE.
What did glow plugs on Mitsubishi 4d34 mean?
Glow plugs concerned me because they were covered in oil, but figured it could have been rolled around and possibly up side down. It fired up fairly easily and ran great. Is the Mitsubishi 4d34 the same as the Isuzu 4bd2t?
Compared to an Isuzu 4BD2T, it’s the same size, weight and has exact same horsepower specs at 130HP. I haven’t compared torque specs yet. One of these days I’ll take the bell housing of of the Mitsubishi and see if it goes on the Isuzu. It would be nice if the engine blocks had the same bolt pattern.

How many horsepower does a Mitsubishi Fuso engine have?
It was of 2.2 L (2,199 cc), had 69 HP and formed the basis for the KE31, a diesel engine of the same dimensions. Several other engines had been taken over from Mitsubishi Motors.
