What kind of tuner will remove the EGR delete code?

What kind of tuner will remove the EGR delete code?

I just ordered exhaust and the EGR blocker plate and was about to order a tuner but the guy seemed to be talking me into EFI Live. I would like to do EFI live but will most likely change tire size later, and don’t want to have to pay for tunes again in a year. PPE HOT and above will deal with the EGR codes.

Can you delete tunes on a SCT X4?

You CANNOT do an EGR delete WITHOUT also deleting the dpf in the exhaust, and you can do NEITHER of these without delete tunes. Canned tunes (out of the box) on the SCT X4 are NOT delete tunes, they are plug & play emissions friendly tunes

Is the EGR delete on my Ford truck working?

The truck ran great! A few months later I put an airaid intake and did an egr delete on it. After the egr delete it has not been running right. I returned it to stock and then tried both the canned street tune and tow tune on it. The transmission shifts hard and the truck lacks power. Does anyone have any insight on this?

What to do when EGR is no longer detected?

When egr is no longer detected, pcm commands to a fail safe lower power level, by reducing fuel delivery and boost pressures on stock tuned trucks. Even if you don’t get a check engine light, you still can have a pending fault code stored in the pcm.
