What kind of truck cannot go into reverse?
I started my truck up this morning, 2002 silverado cc lb, warmed it up, put it in reverse, but it would not get into gear. I noticed that when in “R” it was blinking.
Is it normal to not be able to go into reverse?
After a LONG warm up, and cycling the start / drive procedure, all seemed to be normal. When the temperature outside is warm, or truck / transmission is warm, all is fine. Only when the temperature drops and a cold startup is when I have the issue.

Hey guy my name is john I have a 2001 2500hd duramax and it seems to me it’s not shifting out of either second or 3rd and the shift indicator lights work perfect but staying stuck in either 2 nd or 3rd gear any help would be so greatly appreciated 04LLYDMAX…. Did you ever figure out your problem?
