Edge boxes have been known to cause tranny problems too. Not sure if this is your problem, but I would definitely remove the edge and take it in. My 2005 f-550 service truck had same problem. Took it to dealer,they reflashed the computer. Two days later, it did it again. This time they said the valve body in transmission had cracked in half.

I am a new owner to a 2012 F250 6.7 Powerstroke. I bought the truck used with 100k miles on it from a Ford dealership that said it was a certified truck. When I got the truck it was already deleted and had a Spartan Diesel tuner on it.

The transmission shop told me my torque converter was damaged beyond repair and that the overdrive pack was metal to metal. All of the internal parts of the transmission were replaced, hard and soft. With the transmission rebuilt, the TCM was re-calibrated for the new OEM valve body and was told it should be ready the next day.
