My 2003 Yukon XL (Suburban) with 5.3 motor and 70k miles has no power to any of dash gauges. The truck runs and operates fine, but the radio, heater controls and dash lights work fine. No gauge activity at all. All gauges are at the zero mark.

Why are the lights on my 4WD not working?

Just removed the dash bezel, control panel. Took the 4×4 control panel apart and re-flowed the solder on the connector pins where the wire harness connects to. The problem stems from an issue where the wire harness is hanging on the connector pins that are soldered to the board, eventually working them loose. Hope this helps!

I was recently getting a service 4wd light in my 03 yukon xl. the lights for the switch also went out. I crawled under the truck and started looking at connections to the transfercase. I found that one of the connections had a small amount of corrosion in it. I pulled it apart, sprayed it with contact cleaner and reassembled.

Why is my Cluster gauge on my Tahoe Yukon not working?

After a little research it turned out to be a common problem where the seven little surface mount resitors that power the display overheat and break the solder connections. It was simple to reflow the solder with a little flux and a drop of fresh solder.
