I believe the 2nd gen Rodeo had the Daewoo/Holden 2.2 4 cylinder, not the Isuzu 2.6 that was in the trooper, but I could be wrong. I believe only the 3.5DI in the Second Gen Rodeo had the Aisin auto, the 98-2002/2003 had the GM 4L30e. Typo in “Transmission: MSG 5sp manual (1987-1987)”, should read ” (1986-1987)”.

Typo in “Notes”, “1997” should read “1987”, and actually ALL 1987 Troopers had the same wider track & suspension as the ’88-’91s no matter which drivetrain/axles they had. There are two ’99s in a local salvage yard, both 2wd/Auto with D44/4.10 gears/drum brakes, so 4.30 gears weren’t the only thing available.
