Central Ca. Anybody have any source info on specs on a d7e serial number 48a479*? I need to know if its the 160hp or 180 hp and what the weight is, the year it was made, I am having trouble finding any info on the net.

By calling a friend at a CAT dealership he went into the legacy numbers and determined that it was a 68-69 with a 4 cylinder D339 and a powershift transmission part number 2S7900. That is all I have to go on.

The 47A was a direct drive D7E. Buckethead, skyking1 and Rusted like this. I’ve had a couple of D7E’s and been around several more. They are very good machines. But they are 40+ years old and could be worn into a complete pile of junk.
