What is involved in eliminating the smog pump on our 96 F250?

What was the smog pump on a Ford Mustang?

IIRC, on the fox-body Mustangs (79-93) you could just re-route the belt (shorter, of course) and throw the smog pump away. I think in the 94-95 Mustangs you had to use the idler pulley.

You can do it very easily . Take it all off EGR/ smog pump / canister solenoids / everything that hs to do with it . Make cover plates to block off egr hole .

What kind of bracket do I need for smog pump delete?

Perfect BRACKET for 1992-1996 F150’s 351w (and probably the 302 as well) for smog pump delete. The pulley it comes with is to small though and you will need “Motorcraft YS323 tension pulley kit” to make it work. Also note this comes with no mounting bolts.
