On a similar subject, the 6.0l Powerstroke diesel engine, while significantly more versatile than the gasoline engine, does not compare with the original 7.3l Powerstroke diesel engine but I cannot remember if I have ever seen an Excursion with the 7.3l Powerstroke diesel engine. No other SUV even compares!

The Ford Excursion not only the best SUV that I have owned, but it is the best all-around SUV that I have driven, & there have been many from the old IH Scout, GMC Suburbans, Ford Broncos, Mercedes Benz G-Wagen & an H1 Hummer.
