Why do Texas A&M fans hiss?
Twelfth Man: The entire student body. The 12th man represents the spirit of readiness to support and serve their team. This is why students stand during the football games; we are ready to be called upon if needed. Two percenter: A student who does not display the true Aggie Spirit.
Why do Aggies say whoop?
Aggie upperclassmen and graduates will often say “Whoop!” as an expression of approval or excitement. It is most often used at the end of an Aggie yell. Underclassmen are not supposed to say the word until they have reached either junior or senior status.

Why do A&M students wear uniforms?
Texas A&M Military Uniforms Roughly 2,000 students are Corps members. This means that they live and learn within the military organization’s disciplinary framework. As such, students that are a part of the Corps of Cadets wear distinct military uniforms. In addition, students are required to take two years of ROTC.

Greenwade said people tell her they choose to wear their Aggie Ring on their left ring finger because it is closest to their heart.
