The fuel solenoid will get hot as it is a magnetic coil. If it overheats it will either drop out and stall the engine or blow the fuse. They will draw around 30amps for a few seconds during startup (pick) then drop to around 2 or 3 when running (hold).

FYI the fusible link from Napa is not blue in color, but it is the same one that’s on your truck right now. Blue is just a color that dodge uses and has nothing to do with any other none dodge part you buy at the store, just ask for the 14 gauge fusible link, spend five minutes installing it and your on your way! I found the relay it has 12.5 volts 3 wire plug at solenoid with key on and 10.80 volts at 10ga red wire when cranking and it still will not pull rod into the solenoid when cranking but I can manually push rod up and it will stay up and run I even bypassed the relay straight from battery and it would not pull rod up I am lost at what to do
