Wet Floor Passenger Footwell – Leak? I got in my 9-3 1.9 Tid Linear Sport Estate this morning to come to work and noticed that the passenger footwell was absolutely soaked through. Now we’ve had a lot of rain the last few days but, after checking the door seals, it would appear that it’s not coming through the door.

If OP determines the source is rain water, first suspect is the sun roof, if the car has one. Next would be anything like windows or light fixtures recently repaired on the exterior of the car. WAG: Water is getting into the rear door and running into the footwell from the drain holes at the bottom of the door.
