Is there a turbo problem in my Movano?
No turbo noise, no whistling or turbo boosting up, nothing! It has developed better fuel consumption! All points to the turbo but would like some things to check first, any ideas?
Why does my Vauxhall Movano have no boost?
the wires are prone to chafing through and putting the van into limp mode giving no boost, or the sensor will have gone up the spout. either way, check it out and check the loom where it plugs in and further up as it doubles back on itself.
Where is the boost sensor on a Movano?
If you squeeze a turbo / intercoer hose while someone inside revs the van you should feel if the turbo is working check the wiring to the boost pressure sensor, its located in the pipe from the intercooler to the bottom of the inlet manifold.
Can a Mk4 water pump stop circulating water?
^^^The water pump is a known weak point on Mk4’s. Maybe linked, I’ve not a clue though. Water pump tends to sheer off the plastic impellers and stop circulating water more than leak. But it is very possible. But any good garage should be able to check it out for you.
