Is the heater on my 2012 Dodge Caravan working?

I purchased a brand new 2012 Grand Caravan approx 1 year ago. About 2-3 weeks after purchasing it my wife noticed her side was blowing cold air when mine was blowing heat. The 2nd and 3rd time this happened we took it to the dealer.

Where you cut the rear lines under the front passenger side and then the kit comes with a horse shoe looking aluminum connection that adheres to the place you cut and won’t allow the air to go back to rear. It just recirculates through the loop and back forward to the front.

I would suggest strongly that you get it repaired. A/C Sealer will not fix this problem, don’t even try. Its basically a design problem from Chrysler.

Turned of the blower with the car running . turned both controllers to cold and then to hot at the same time, three times. Turned on the blower and lord and behold it worked. Why is my Dodge Grand Caravan not working?

When turning the heater switch to the Floor only setting, no heat comes out. It bypasses and the hot / cold air goes to the windshield. Any other setting that combine with the floor will not work on the floor setting , but will work on whatever the other setting is. AC and rest of the heater settings work completely fine.
