How high does a bobcat bucket go?

Powerful, vertical-path lift arms deliver straight-up strength — an impressive 2,500-pound rated operating capacity. With that kind of muscle, you can easily handle big loads. And the S250’s reach of 34 inches and lift height of 10.5 feet make loading trucks fast and effortless. You get extra hydraulic power, too.

How many yards fit in a pickup?

A regular size pick-up will hold three cubic yards of mulch (a full load). Two cubic yards is about body level full. When picking up soils, sands and gravels, one cubic yard is all that is recommended on a pick-up truck.

What should I do if my Bobcat loader is not running?

Do not overfill the reservoir; hydraulics work best with the exact amount of fluid in the system. Check the hydraulic fuel filter. If it’s clogged and fluid can’t flow freely, power to the loader will be reduced. Be sure the hydraulic pump (located in front of the engine) is operating to specifications.

When did the first Bobcat lift go bad?

First one went bad at 3am during a big storm (probably around 1000 hrs on machine). The second one (tilt) has been going bad for a while now. It was an intermittent problem. Sometimes the loader would dump fine and other times it would dump very slow.

Where is the hydraulic pump on a Bobcat loader?

Be sure the hydraulic pump (located in front of the engine) is operating to specifications. The pump could be direct-drive on the engine or belt driven, depending on your model; if it’s belt driven, make sure the belt is tight and not frayed or worn.

What to do if your bobcat’s valve is hanging up?

Talked to the Bobcat rep (no longer trust the local Bobcat dealer & mechanics) and he said it was probably the actuator and may be the valve sticking. When the actuator is off it’s pretty easy to check valve movement. Apply force to it manually to see if it’s hanging up. I would bet that it’s not the valve but the actuator (which is what mine was).
