Who designed the UTS Tower?

The Tower was designed in 1964 by Michael Dysart from the Government Architect’s Office, who has said that integration of architecture and engineering was the key design driver, with “nothing to be concealed behind false ceilings, render or gyprock”.

Who is the architect of the UTS Business School?

The iconic Dr Chau Chak Wing Building is the first building in Australia designed by Frank Gehry, one of the world’s most influential architects. The building’s 11 occupied floors provide teaching, learning, research and staff accommodation for the UTS Business School, as well as student lounges and cafes.

Where are the new UTS buildings in Sydney?

A new seven-level research facility accommodating state-of-the-art science labs and other facilities will shortly open at the southern end of Building 4. Building 5 – located at the Haymarket precinct, this old market building with its landmark bell tower was home to the UTS Library and Faculty of Law before their relocation to UTS Central.
