It is not a question of turning ON/OFF the feature. The feature is always ON after driving the van but if the van is stopped and the doors manually unlocked, the auto lock DOES NOT auto lock. The only way it will auto lock again is to turn the engine off and restart the engine. Sounds to me like the auto un lock has been disabled.
