You can try resetting the ETC as well. Place you vehicle in the run position without starting and depress the gas pedal and release all in 2 seconds (1 down and 1 up). You should hear a confirmation “ding” if done correctly and you have know reset the sensor to know when you have open throttle.

Can a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SE Start?

I just but a new 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SE and I am having starting issues. I put the FOB into the ignition turn it to start but get nothing. All the lights and bells come so there is power from the battery. After a few tries it will start with no problems. I will turn the FOB and hear 1 click sound at the start postion but nothing happens.

Thus far=Tried different key FOB, the battery is fine- tightened all connections, new starter installed, turned off after market alarm that was on the car when we bought it new, today back in the shop again??? Hello. 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.6 liters. Problem with starting the car. After turning the key, absolutely nothing happens. You hear a pop in the drivers and that’s it. The radio dims, the blower turns off and I cannot hear anything. I checked if it was a question of the gear position on P, but it is not.

Removed wire, cleaned it up, added some dielectric grease and it has been solid for 6 months. My 2010 T&C 4.0 has an intermittent starting problem. It cranks without starting after sitting awhile on hot days. it cranks continuous until it times out. However, if i depress the accelerator pedal to the floor it starts.
