On a Mustang Convertible 2010-2014, on the back seat, behind the drivers seat, pull the cushion away from the side of the car. In between the cushions, you see a key slot. Use the car key, push it in and turn to the right. It will open the trunk even in the event of a busted fuse, dead battery or busted trunk motor.
