Press the customization button on the DIC control panel until “Display Language” appears. Press the “Set” button to enter the language menu. Press the customization button to toggle through the languages.

The next most common problem seen on GM instrument clusters are failing digital displays. This problem is unrelated to the stepper motor problem but is often seen in the same clusters.
