That bolt just holds the plug into it’s socket. It doesn’t actually have anything to do with the connection. Pull the plug and clean it with electrical cleaner.

64stacey has another post that has a lot more info. The truck is a 96 and you can get the codes by doing the key dance. I posted that and haven’t heard back. Plus the cel wasn’t on (no codes to read). Not open for further replies.
Why are the fuel gages on my Dodge truck not working?
Next I pulled up the 1/16 inch on the connector and while I didn’t loose all the gages this time the oil temp and fuel gages dropped to zero! I found that the PCM wire bundle is putting pressure on this connecton against a poorly designed draw down bolt that caused the contacts to become disconnected.
