For cruising, look for a cruiser board characterized by its wider, larger, softer wheels (durometer 78A to 82A should be best). Such wheels will make for a smooth ride, as they can absorb shock. A board that’s 28 to 32 inches in length is also ideal. (That’s a similar length to most “normal” or street skateboards.)
